District Profile

District Profile
The Yukon Public School District covers 68 square miles of eastern Canadian County, located primarily within the boundaries of the City of Yukon and western portions of the City of Oklahoma City. Serving a diverse population of over 9,100 students in the fastest growing area of the State, Yukon is the 14th largest district (out of 525 school districts) in Oklahoma. Yukon has also received Top Workplace in Oklahoma honors over the last several years.

One size doesn't fit all, especially when it comes to education. Every elementary school in the district provides full-day, pre-k and kindergarten classes; Advanced Placement programs at our high school along with an already strong vocational program is growing every day; and alternative offerings include YALE and Yukon Virtual Middle & High Schools.
