Donuts sold in rotunda $1 a donut, 1-3 hours

Scavenger hunt 7-8:30 pm, $5 a team member, team sizes of 4-6

 

Tuesday-

Bake sale 1-3 hours in rotunda

Blacklight dance 7-9 pm, $10 ticket sold in rotunda untill thursday

 

Wednesday-

Bake sale 1-3 hours in rotunda

Silent auction all day online

Wish Week assembly

 

Thursday-

Bake sale 1-3 hours in rotunda

 

Friday-

Bake sale 1-3 hours in rotunda

Carnival 6th and 7th hours

 

Saturday-

12-3pm Fun Run with food trucks after the run

 


Baseball Tryouts:

Baseball tryouts will be held on November 14th and 16th, from 3:00-5:00. Students wanting to tryout must have a PHYSICAL and their own equipment.  See Coach James in N120 to sign up for the tryouts or if you have any questions.


College Career Fair:

PC Schools and Francis Tuttle Technology Center will be host a College Career Fair. This will be November 14th, 6 to 8 pm at the Francis Tuttle Reno Campus. There will be representatives from over 30 state and private universities including OU, OSU, OCU, SNU, OBU and many others. There will also be representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and National Guards.


Drivers Education:

    Drivers Education will be December 21st, 22nd & 23rd from 7:30am-5:30pm at YMS. Cost will be $300 to YHS students & $325 to all Out of District Students. Forms are available in the front office, and must be returned to Ms. Rutherford by no later than Friday, December 15th.


Food Drive:

    YHS Student Councils Canned food drive will beginning now through November 16th!! All of the items collected will be given to Yukon Sharing to help feed families for the upcoming winter. We are asking all students, faculty and the community to participate in the hope of ending hunger in our area. Please ask your 7th hour class to bring cans to donate. The 1st place winners will be dismissed 3 minutes early from 7th hour for 7 days; 2nd place winners will be dismissed 3 minutes early for 5 days from 7th hour; 3rd place winners will be dismissed 3 minutes early from 7th hour for 3 days!


Bowling Team:

   Bowling Team will meet Tuesday & Thursday 4:00pm., at Meridian Lanes, 2900 S. Meridian Ave. It is open to all YHS students, no cost. You must provide your own transportation. See Mrs. Choate in the counseling office if you have any questions.


 

Soccer Mandatory Meetings:

 

Girl’s Soccer mandatory pre-tryout meeting, October 25th @ 4:00 on the 2nd floor of the wellness Center. YOU MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRY OUT. If you have any questions see Mr. Scott in Room S160. Tryouts will be November 15, 16 @ 4:00.

Boy’s Soccer Tryouts will be November 28-29th at YHS football field from 3:10-5:00. This is open to all boy’s in grades 9-12. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Tryout Meeting on November 14th in Coach Cook’s room S140.

Parking Stickers:

 

Parking Stickers are available for $30, cash or check (made payable to Yukon High School) in the Main Office.  You will need your tag number and proof of insurance.
