Surrey Hills 2011 - 2012 Teacher of the Year

    Surrey Hills is proud to announce our 2011 - 2012 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Shila Dobbins!  Mrs. Dobbins has been a teacher for 14 years, all at Surrey Hills. She taught 1st grade for 5 years, 2nd grade for 6 years and is now into her 3rd year of 3rd grade.

       Mrs. Dobbins has lived in the Yukon area all her life and is obviously proud to be here.

        " I believe that Surrey Hills is the best place on earth and I am blessed to have the opportunity to not only work here, but to also raise my family in Surrey".

         Mrs Dobbins has been married for 10 years to her husband Derek. They have a daughter Keegan who attends 2nd grade at Surrey Hills.
