Student Council is a school organization available for 3rd - 5th grade students who are interested in leadership, volunteer work, and school pride. StuCo representatives meet at least once a month after school, plan school activities, and provide services to teachers and the community. A StuCo representative is someone who: turns their work in on time, has a great attendance record, doesn't have any disciplinary issues, is responsible, and has dedication.
Permission slips go home the first full week of school and classroom elections are held at the end of the week. Once the classroom representatives are elected, officers will be elected. 4th and 5th grade StuCo representatives hold offices. The President and Secretary are held by 5th grade representatives. The Vice-President and Parliamentarian are held by 4th grade representatives. The alternate, from the classroom elections, will fill the spot as classroom representative at the elected officer.
