General Policies and Procedures
Transcripts for Current Students:

Unofficial and Official transcripts are printed every Tuesday and Thursday.

Students must sign-up for a transcript in person in the counseling office.

Students should pick-up printed transcripts after 2:00 p.m. on the print date or the next school day.

Transcripts remain official until the envelope seal is broken.
Transcripts for Yukon High School Graduates/ Employment Verification Companies/ Military Recruiters:

Employment verification companies and military recruiters must fax a release of confidential records signed by the Yukon High School student/graduate. No graduation verifications will be given over the phone per the FERPA law.

You must provide the graduation year, birthdate, and name as it appears on the diploma, along with a current, photo ID and the number of transcripts you are requesting.

If you are requesting a transcript by mail, please include the return address or the address of the college/university you would like it mailed to.

Please allow at least 3 business days to process your request.

Some files are not yet computerized and take longer to process.

Under State and Federal law, no other party may pick up someone else's transcript including parents, siblings, wives/husbands, etc if the person is over 18 year of age and not currently enrolled at Yukon High School.
Seniors Only:
NCAA Initial Eligibility - A signed authorization must be on file with the registrar in order for transcripts to be sent to the NCAA Initial Eligibility Center. Students must first register on the NCAA website at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net. Students must print the Transcript Release Authorization Form and bring in the signed form to the registrar before any records can be sent.
Senior Final Transcripts - Seniors who wish to have a final transcript sent to colleges/universities must turn in a final transcript request by May 1st.
Reading Proficiency Verification for Drivers Permit:

Students may request a letter to verifiy 8th grad Reading Proficiency for the purpose of obtaining a driver's permit.

Please allow 24 hours for the request to be processed.

Verifications may be picked up in the counseling office after 6th hour.

Students who did not pass one of the State approved reading tests will need to contact Lisa Major in the counseling office to receive information about taking another test. Alternate reading tests are only given once a month. Please check with the counseling office for exact dates.

Students who will need the letter over summer break or any other school break will need to request the letter three days before the last day of school prior to the school break. Officials are not available to verify test scores during school breaks. It is the student's responsibility to obtain the proper documentation prior to the date it is needed.
Records Requests from Other School Districts:
Schools requesting records for students may fax a request to 405-354-6640.
Schools requesting Special Education confidential records should fax the request to 405-265-1389.
