Here in Yukon, we place a high emphasis on technology integration and Professional Development. We are here to help our teachers in the areas listed below. Also, it is our pleasure to assist our Yukon parents with Parent Connect.

Technology:

• Locate, preview, and evaluate software.
• Aid and assist in software integration into the curriculum.
• Research, create, and provide ideas for activities and lessons involving the use of technology for teachers to use in their classrooms.
• Provide assistance with Integrade Pro, SASIxp, Classxp, Parent Connect, Compass Learning, and Microsoft Office.
• Provide individual, group, and grade level instruction.
• Assist teachers with student activities.
• Direct and conduct technology committee meetings.
• Promote a greater degree of use of technology district-wide.

Professional Development:

• Coordinate teacher inservice training in all areas.
• Coordinate Title II funding.
• Direct and conduct Professional Development committee meetings.
• Assist Site Professional Development committee members.
• Answer questions regarding Professional Development requirements.

New Teacher Induction Program:

• Coordinate New Teacher Induction Program at the beginning of each year.
• Conduct quarterly sessions for teachers new to our district.
• Aid and assist new teachers in any way possible.
• Provide training for specialized areas.
