Teacher of the Year Celebration

  • Event Director, Deana Clingerman shares in the celebration with School Board Member, David Moore.
  • The 11 Teachers of the Year were honored with an outpouring of gifts and donations from members of the Yukon Community. Those pictured are: Julie Blose, Ranchwood; Kristine Layton, Shedeck; Jeana Parker, Skyview; Amanda Bruner, Surrey Hills; Wes Ankrom, IMS; Ricki Robertson, LMS, and Tom Grayam, HS 9/10.

  • Also joining in the events are Pastor Tom Arnold of Good News Church and Sandy Meier of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce.
  • The Brakefield Family make a personal presentation to Tina Hawkins, YPS 2008-2009 District Teacher of the Year. Mike Brakefield, Brad Brakefield, and Marge Brakefield express their appreciation to their family member, Tina.
  • Don and Julie Blose join Director Deana Clingerman in the celebration.
  • Event Sponsors, Billie Houston and Dustin Bentley , with Tinker Credit Union looks on as Principal Carol Burton enters her name into the drawing for $50. Director Pam Shelton joins in on the fun.
  • Community member and YPS parent Elaina Cain and Assistant to the Director, Amelia Cannon celebrate during the event.
