star Students

Yukon students enjoy one of the smaller teacher-to-pupil ratios in the suburban areas. With pride the school system works to keep this ratio below the state mandated levels. Yukon's students then become the real stars. Students past and present are responsible for building and maintaining the reputation of excellence of the Yukon Public Schools. Upon graduation they take with them an educational experience that motivates them to become productive members of society.

  • 90 % Of Yukon graduates, within two years of their high school graduation, attend instructions of higher learning
  • 35 % Of university bound graduates receive scholarships
  • 3 to 5 Students per year during the past five years have gained recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for Academic Excellence

Students have earned a multitude of honors and awards on local, state and national levels. Students have gained recognition in academics, the arts with music and drama, agriculture and athletics.

ACT scores compared to the state and national average, rank favorably.
