Reading Sufficiency Tutoring (RSA)
- Reading Sufficiency Tutoring: Before & After School
- Begins in October and ends in March
- Schedule is on Tuesday & Thursday
- Morning schedule: 7:45 a.m.-8:15 a.m.
- Afternoon schedule: 3:30 p.m.-4:15 p.m.
- Instructors: These classes are taught by various Parkland Certified teachers.
- Cost: There is no cost for these tutoring classes. The program is funded by the state of Oklahoma.
- This program focuses on students in grades first, second, and third.
- Curriculum focus is on reading comprehension and vocabulary.
Criterion Referenced Tests Tutoring: (CRT)
- Offered to 5th grade only
- Schedule: After school only, two-three days per week
- Begins in December and ends in March
- Time: 3:30-4:15
- Curriculum Focus: Preparation for end of year Criterion Referenced Tests (CRT) that are scheduled in April of 2008. These tests are state mandated by the Oklahoma State Board of Education.
- Cost: These classes are offered free to all students.
- Instructors: These classes are taught by Parkland Elementary 5th grade teachers.
