JANUARY REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS

DENTAL HEALTH MONTH ACTIVITIES - February 2012
Yukon Public Schools, along with local dentists, volunteer to help our students during Dental Health Month by promoting TWO special programs.

Dental Health Day. Dentists visit all 1st grade classes.  A complimentary toothbrush kit and letter will be sent home with the results of the screening.

Give Kids A Smile Program Local dentists will donate time  and services by appointment through the Helping Hand office, to present Yukon’s 9th Annual Program. This national program gives access to dental care to children in grades “K” thru 12.

Last year $17,270.00  in dental care was donated to help Yukon students in one day. This is an awesome gift to our students, donated by Yukon dentists.  Don’t forget to GIVE KIDS A SMILE and thank Yukon dentists for their contribution and volunteer services!
