Dear Parents,

Welcome to Lakeview Elementary School!  Lakeview has begun a proud history as an elementary school for 4th and 5th graders in Yukon.  Our staff, students, and parents have become a blended family and created a dynamic, warm, and welcoming envornonment for our students.

The staff at Lakeview is committed to providing the Five Star education that all of Yukon Schools strive to achieve for our students.  Our students will enjoy challenging, engaging, creative, and fun lessons in each of our classrooms. Our extra space allows us to be creative in how we serve our students, including the addition of a fourth "specials" class called STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).  As far as we know, Yukon is the only school district in the country that provides a dedicated STEM class for 4th and 5th graders.

At Lakeview we expect our students to do their very best to achieve personal success in all subjects.  In addition, our students are expected to always demonstrate the ability to be ready, respectful, and responsible; three traits that exemplify good citizenship. We believe that our 4th and 5th grade center provides a solid stepping stone between the foundation of the primary school and the challenges and independence of middle school.
