YPS Sports Yukon Public Schools compete in the largest division (6A) of high school sports in Oklahoma. Our teams compete in 12 sports and have championship cheerleading and pom squads. We have approximately 2100 High School students, with over 700 in athletics and over 500 middle school athletes, with state of the art facilities, and outstanding coaches in each sport.
Facilities The High School gym holds 2200 spectators for Basketball and wrestling competition. Miller Stadium holds 3,800 and is equipped with a brand new Field Turf artificial playing surface. Our Track and Field athletes compete on newly updated surfaces as well. Each year Yukon schools host invitational events in track, wrestling, baseball, golf, softball, cross country, and soccer.
