Students

Yukon students enjoy one of the smaller teacher-to-pupil ratios in suburban areas. With pride, the school system works to keep this ratio below the state-mandated levels. Yukon's students then become the real stars. Students past and present are responsible for building and maintaining the reputation of excellence of Yukon Public Schools. Upon graduation, students take with them an educational experience that motivates them to become productive members of society.

  90% of Yukon graduates, within
two years of their high school graduation,
    attend institutions of higher learning

  •   35% of university-bound graduates receive scholarships
  •
  •   Three to five students per year for the past five years
  •     have gained recognition from the National
  •     Merit Scholarship Corporation for Academic Excellence

Students have earned a multitude of honors and awards on local, state and national levels in academics, the arts, music, drama, agriculture and athletics.
